City of Gallatin Dog Park

Rules

The City of Gallatin opened its first dog park on Friday, July 18, at Triple Creek Park.  This is the first public dog park in Sumner County.  “A lot of people including the Girl Scouts, the Leisure Services staff and others worked very hard to make this dog park a reality,” said David Brown, Director of Leisure Services. “I’m really excited it’s open and we encourage folks to bring their dogs and enjoy it.”

“Girl Scout Troop 574 was instrumental in the success of this project,” Brown said. “They helped with painting, including the bridge, and they donated the agility course apparatus.”

The dog park is just one feature of the Triple Creek Park campus. The campus also includes ball fields, Frisbee golf, walking trails and much more.  For more information on the dog park, contact Leisure Services at 451-5911.
