City Recorder/City Judge

The City Recorder/City Judge is entrusted with two major functions:  administering the city judicial system and maintaining vital recording, billing, and licensing services.  Not only does the City Recorder/City Judge oversee the city judicial system, but it maintains vital city records, collects city property taxes, ensures liquor store compliance, and issues taxi-cab and beer permits.  Also, Gallatin residents can pay utility bills, purchase city trash cans, apply for property tax rebates and city business licenses at the City Recorder/City Judge office.
