City of Gallatin - Office of Information Technology

Ensuring the consistent and effective flow of information is the goal of Gallatin’s Office of Information Technology. The IT office provides and supports WAN/LAN for 6 remote buildings connecting to City Hall and the Internet access provided by City Hall through WAN. All email technologies for City staff are maintained by IT, as well as the support, maintenance, and infrastructure of the city website. The City’s system of 130 PCs and 14 servers, with related hardware and software, are supported by IT. In addition, the IT office coordinates GIS and Mapping Activities; assists in analyzing data through GIS; and produces maps for current and future projects.
